Children’s Worship Center

Deborah Kingsolver and Kristin Carpenter are co-directing our new children’s ministry. Under their leadership we will be providing Children’s worship in both the 8:45 & 10:30 am services. The center will have a place for crafts, lesson time, worship and even a Children’s Café. The kids will have their own worship bulletin and praise team.

Children’s Worship Center

In the month of October we will be learning about Bible heroes: Joseph (10/6), Joshua and the Battle of Jericho (10/13), Gideon (10/20) and “What Halloween Means” (10/27). Our children’s worship ministry is provided every Sunday morning at 10:30 am and includes fun songs, games, crafts, refreshments and more.

Parent’s Night Out

Another fun-filled Parent’s Night Out is being planned for Friday, October 11th from 5:30 until 8:00 pm. On this night we will be having a “Noah’s Ark” costume party. All sorts of “Noah’s Ark” activities are planned for the evening. Feel free to have your children dress up as animals or Bible characters but please, no scary or gory costumes.

Children ages 4 through the 6th grade are invited to join us for this free evening of fun and laughter while parents can enjoy a “kid-free” evening. Supper for the children will be provided on this night.

Open House & More

There are a lot of wonderful events and activities taking place in the Children’s Worship Center. If you have young children or know of anyone with young children, they won’t want to miss out on these exciting events!! This Sunday is our first annual Open House which will take place in our children’s worship center during both services at 8:45 and 10:30 AM. Our lessons for this quarter will feature Jesus’ early ministry in Capernaum and then follow His journey to the point of becoming King of the Jews. Where will the way of the King lead? Walk with him and his 12 chosen friends through the dusty roads of Galilee and find out! We have a lot of wonderful, fun activities planned for our upcoming Parent’s Night Out events. PARENTS: This is your perfect opportunity to take advantage of free babysitting and enjoy a child-free evening out.

Turnpike Wesleyan exists to honor God by making more disciples for Jesus Christ. We endeavor to do this by connecting through worship, growing through Life groups and serving in community & ministry projects.
